AMA – Die poetische Transformation der Blüte
Blumen sind seit jeher ein Symbol für Schönheit, Aufbruch und Vergänglichkeit – ein ewiges Thema der Kunstgeschichte, das die großen Meister des Impressionismus immer wieder fasziniert hat. Inspiriert von der sinnlichen Farben- und Blütenpracht Floridas, wo ich mich oft aufhalte, habe ich mich intensiv mit der Blume als künstlerisches Motiv auseinandergesetzt.
In meiner Serie AMA erforsche ich die Grenzen zwischen Realität und Illusion, Struktur und Bewegung, Farbe und Licht. Die Amaryllis, eine Blume voller Anmut, dient mir als Ausgangspunkt für eine visuelle Transformation. Ihre Blüten entfalten sich nicht nur in ihrer natürlichen Pracht, sondern werden in meinen Werken durch digitale Überlagerungen, fein nuancierte Transparenzen und changierende Farbwelten in eine neue Dimension erhoben.
Wie die französischen Impressionisten, die mit Licht und Farbe malten, erschaffe ich in meinen Arbeiten eine Welt, in der sich die Blüte nicht nur als natürliche Form zeigt, sondern auch als metaphysisches Wesen – ein Symbol für das Flüchtige und zugleich das Zeitlose. Jede meiner Kompositionen spielt mit Farben, Strukturen und Tiefe, um das florale Motiv über das rein Gegenständliche hinauszuheben und den Betrachter in eine fast meditative Sphäre zu entführen.
Die Blume ist mehr als nur ein dekoratives Element – sie ist ein Sinnbild für das Leben selbst, für die Zerbrechlichkeit des Moments und die kraftvolle Energie der Natur, die uns mit Farben, Licht, Formen und Düften umhüllt.
AMA ist eine Serie, die dazu einlädt, die Blüte neu zu entdecken – als Kunstwerk der Natur und als visuelle Komposition, die sich ständig neu erfindet. Ein Spiel zwischen Sinnlichkeit und Struktur, zwischen Realität und Traum.
AMA – The Poetic Transformation of the Blossom
Flowers have always symbolized beauty, renewal, and transience—an eternal theme in art history that has captivated the great masters of French Impressionism. Inspired by the sensory explosion of colors and floral abundance in Florida, where I often spend time, I have deeply engaged with the blossom as an artistic motif.
In my series AMA, I explore the boundaries between reality and illusion, structure and movement, color and light. The Amaryllis, a flower of rare elegance, serves as the foundation for a visual transformation. In my works, it not only unfolds in its natural grace but is elevated into a new dimension through digital layering, delicate transparencies, and luminous color variations.
Like the Impressionists, who painted with light and color, I create a world where the flower transcends its natural form to become a metaphysical entity—a symbol of both fleeting moments and timeless presence. Each composition plays with shades, textures, and depth, lifting the floral motif beyond the figurative and inviting the viewer into an almost meditative sphere.
A flower is more than a decorative element—it is a reflection of life itself, a reminder of the fragility of the moment and the powerful energy of nature, enveloping us in color, light, form, and fragrance.
AMA is a series that invites the viewer to rediscover the blossom as both a masterpiece of nature and a visual composition in constant reinvention. A dance between sensuality and structure, between reality and dream.
