Jens-Christian Wittig: „Wenn ich Musik höre, dann sehe ich oft auch Bilder."
Mit dem Saisonbuch 2019 geht die Dresdner Philharmonie gestalterisch neue Wege. Architektur und Kunst, das Äußere des Kulturpalasts und des Konzertsaals und sein Innenleben stehen dabei in enger Verbindung. Jens-Christian Wittig, der sowohl für das Cover als auch die Zwischentitel eine eigene Bildwelt schuf, fühlt sich dabei den Inhalten des Buchs eng verbunden:
„Wenn ich Musik höre, dann sehe ich oft auch Bilder.“
Seine Motive im aktuellen Saisonbuch der Dresdner Philharmonie sind für JCW auch eine Art Spiegel der Musik. Und zwar jener Musik, die den neuen Konzertsaal im Kulturpalast prägt.

With the 2019 season book, the Dresden Philharmonic is breaking new ground in terms of design. Architecture and art, the exterior of the Kulturpalast and the concert hall and its interior are closely connected.
Jens-Christian Wittig, who created his own kind of imagery for both the cover and the subtitles, feels closely connected to the content of the book :„When I listen to music, I often see pictures too.“
For Jens-Christian Wittig, his motifs in the current season book of the Dresden Philharmonic are also a kind of mirror of the music, the music that shapes the new concert hall in the Kulturpalast.
